About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Remote Hospitality Project Manager to oversee a variety of strategic projects within the hospitality sector. This role requires a leader capable of managing project lifecycles from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery of objectives, on time and within budget, all while working remotely. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive initiatives related to service improvement, technology implementation, and operational enhancements. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of hospitality operations, exceptional project management skills, and a proven ability to lead complex projects from a distance, supporting operations across Northern Cape and other regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, execution, and closing of hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and lead project team members, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to closure, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
