About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Remote HR Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to all relevant labor laws and regulations across their distributed workforce. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR compliance programs and policies.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices and records to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on compliance-related matters.
- Manage responses to regulatory inquiries and ensure timely reporting.
- Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR compliance, legal, or risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of South African labor laws, BCEA, LRA, EEA, and other relevant legislation.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent report writing and presentation abilities, with experience in remote communication tools.
