About the Role
Our client is seeking an adaptable and forward-thinking Remote HR Generalist to contribute to strategic HR projects. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa. You will be involved in developing and implementing HR initiatives, improving HR processes, and supporting organizational change. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent project management skills, and the ability to drive initiatives effectively in a virtual environment. You will play a key role in shaping the future of HR within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new HR policies and procedures.
- Support various HR projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and cultural initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform HR strategy and decision-making.
- Assist in developing and delivering HR training programs for employees and managers.
- Manage communication plans for HR initiatives to ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Provide HR support and guidance on complex employee relations matters as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in HR, with exposure to project management or strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and project management software is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate virtually across teams.
