About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Remote HSE Manager to lead their Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives for Oil & Gas operations. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining critical oversight of safety protocols and environmental compliance across various projects.
You will be instrumental in developing and enforcing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture among all personnel, regardless of their physical location.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HSE best practices in the Eastern Cape and beyond, ensuring operational integrity and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for Oil & Gas operations.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and site inspections (virtual and occasional on-site as needed) to ensure compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees and contractors.
• Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permits.
