About the Role
Our client is searching for a talented Remote HVAC Systems Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and optimization of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Operating from a remote-first environment, you will leverage advanced modeling tools and your engineering expertise to develop innovative solutions for diverse client needs. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop specifications for HVAC systems, including load calculations, airflow, and control strategies.
- Utilize CAD and simulation software to model system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct remote technical reviews and provide guidance on installation and commissioning processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and installation teams to ensure project success.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC system issues identified remotely.
- Research and recommend new technologies and sustainable practices for HVAC systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Trace 700).
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and building science.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Experience with Installation & Maintenance project lifecycles is essential.
