About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Hygiene Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to stringent hygiene and sanitation standards across their operations, with a particular focus on supporting teams in the East London area. This role is fully remote and requires a proactive approach to policy development, monitoring, and training, all managed through digital platforms. You will be instrumental in safeguarding public health by upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and regulatory compliance, working collaboratively with on-site personnel from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene and sanitation compliance programs remotely.
• Conduct virtual audits and assessments to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide remote guidance and training to staff on best practices in hygiene, sanitation, and infectious disease control.
• Investigate and report on hygiene-related incidents or concerns, recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, training records, and audit findings.
• Stay current with all applicable health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in hygiene management , sanitation, or regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated success in working and managing tasks effectively in a remote environment.
• In-depth knowledge of public health regulations, food safety standards (if applicable), and infection control principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills, adaptable to virtual delivery.
