About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Remote Hygiene Consultant to provide expert advice and support on sanitation protocols and best practices. In this contract role, you will leverage your extensive experience to assess client needs, develop customized hygiene plans, and offer remote guidance to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in public health, environmental services, or a related field, who can effectively communicate recommendations and strategies through virtual channels. You will be instrumental in helping businesses maintain optimal cleanliness and safety, contributing to healthier environments for their employees and customers, all managed through a flexible, remote work structure that prioritizes impactful consultation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote assessments of client facilities and operations to identify hygiene risks and areas for improvement.
• Develop tailored sanitation plans , protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet specific client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert consultation and recommendations on cleaning techniques, disinfectants, waste management, and infection control.
• Deliver virtual training sessions and workshops to client staff on implementing and maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes impacting sanitation and public health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hygiene management , sanitation, or a consulting role focused on cleaning and disinfection.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, such as HACCP, OSHA, or local equivalents.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills .
• Strong virtual communication and presentation abilities, comfortable working independently in a remote capacity.
