Remote Hygiene Policy Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and policy-oriented Remote Hygiene Policy Analyst to support their extensive operations, particularly concerning facilities in the Mahikeng region and nationwide. This role is critical for ensuring that all hygiene and sanitation practices align with current regulations, industry best practices, and the company's commitment to health and safety. You will be responsible for researching, developing, and refining hygiene policies, conducting risk assessments, and providing expert recommendations to stakeholders across the organization. This is a remote position, requiring a self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills to effectively influence policy and practice from afar.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and update company-wide hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Analyze existing sanitation practices to identify gaps and ensure compliance with local, national, and international health regulations.
• Conduct remote risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of current hygiene protocols.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to operational management on improving sanitation standards and mitigating health risks.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on policy effectiveness, compliance status, and proposed changes.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the field of hygiene and sanitation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, Health Policy, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in policy development, analysis, or implementation within a health, safety, or sanitation context.
• Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation principles and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in digital communication and collaboration tools for remote work.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex policy recommendations clearly.
