About the Role
Our client is seeking a proficient Remote Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Lean Methodologies to join their virtual operations team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and implementation of lean transformation initiatives across the organization remotely.
• Conduct virtual value stream mapping, Gemba walks (via video conferencing), and process analyses.
• Develop and deliver online training programs on lean principles and tools for diverse teams.
• Identify opportunities for waste reduction and efficiency improvements through data analysis and process reviews.
• Standardize processes and best practices globally, ensuring consistent application of lean methodologies.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects using virtual collaboration tools.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience focused on implementing and sustaining lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to lead lean initiatives and drive change effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong understanding of lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, and Poka-Yoke.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and change management skills.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Miro) and standard office software.
