About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Industrial Engineer to focus on operations analysis for their nationwide facilities. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your expertise to dissect operational data, identify trends, and develop data-driven recommendations for improving efficiency, productivity, and cost management across various sites, including those near Polokwane . You will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing clear, actionable insights derived from rigorous analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive operational data analysis to identify performance drivers, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate virtually with site managers and operational teams to understand challenges and gather necessary data for analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations for enhancing productivity and reducing costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related analytical field.
• 4+ years of experience in operations analysis, industrial engineering, or a similar data-focused role.
• Proven ability to work effectively and autonomously in a remote work environment.
• Strong proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R, and experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in process improvement.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for presenting complex information clearly.
