About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Remote Industrial Engineer to focus on operations strategy . In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future direction of our global operations by analyzing performance, identifying strategic opportunities, and developing long-term plans for improvement. You will leverage data-driven insights to guide decisions on process optimization, resource allocation, and technological adoption, working collaboratively with teams across various time zones. This position offers a significant opportunity for an experienced engineer to influence high-level operational strategy without geographical constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze global operational performance, identifying strategic opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and competitive advantage.
- Develop and refine long-term operational strategies, including capacity planning, technology roadmaps, and resource optimization frameworks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and business case development for major operational initiatives and capital investments.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and innovation.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or an MBA with an engineering background.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering , operations management, or strategic planning roles.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful operational strategies at a large scale.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business case development skills.
- Expertise in process optimization, supply chain dynamics, and performance management.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and remote collaboration skills.
