Remote Industrial Process Improvement Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Remote Industrial Process Improvement Engineer to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. This position will focus on analyzing existing workflows, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing innovative solutions using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, all while working from a remote location. You will collaborate virtually with diverse teams across the organization to drive sustainable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost reduction. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a proven track record in process optimization and a strong ability to influence change through digital communication and virtual collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
• Analyze operational data and workflows to identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for enhanced efficiency.
• Conduct virtual training sessions for team members on new processes and improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely to implement and sustain process changes.
• Monitor the performance of implemented improvements and make necessary adjustments to ensure long-term success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong emphasis on process improvement.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt required.
• Proven experience in data analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent virtual communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools and project management software.
