About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Remote Industrial Process Improvement Specialist to contribute to their operational excellence initiatives, serving operations based in East London. This fully remote position focuses on analyzing, redesigning, and implementing improvements to manufacturing and industrial processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. You will leverage advanced analytical tools, data analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive significant operational enhancements across various business units. This role offers the perfect blend of autonomy and impact for an experienced engineer passionate about continuous improvement and process optimization from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of industrial processes, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and implement innovative solutions leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, VSM, Kaizen).
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of implemented improvements.
• Collaborate remotely with on-site teams and stakeholders to understand challenges and facilitate the adoption of new processes.
• Utilize data analysis and statistical tools to support decision-making and identify root causes of issues.
• Lead and facilitate virtual workshops and training sessions on process improvement methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing Lean and Six Sigma projects.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive results in a remote setting.
