About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and self-motivated Remote Industrial Systems Analyst to support their operations, with a focus on projects originating from the Paarl region, but not restricted to it. This role is essential for evaluating and optimizing complex industrial systems and processes through in-depth data analysis and modeling. You will work independently to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reductions, and quality improvements, developing data-driven recommendations for system enhancements. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from industrial operations to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Develop mathematical models and simulations to predict system performance and test potential solutions.
• Provide detailed reports and actionable recommendations to management regarding system optimization strategies.
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of existing industrial processes and technologies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial systems analysis, modeling, and simulation.
• Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of industrial processes and manufacturing environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
