Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.

• Develop and automate security processes and infrastructure using scripting languages and configuration management tools.

• Conduct in-depth security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.

• Monitor security alerts and logs, investigate potential security incidents, and coordinate response efforts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into cloud environments and application development lifecycles.

• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve the organization's security posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in information security engineering or architecture.

• Demonstrated expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and system hardening.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and security tasks.

• Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption standards, and threat modeling.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
