Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security controls.
• Develop and implement robust network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network architectures.
• Conduct in-depth security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing across various environments.
• Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives and develop sophisticated detection mechanisms for emerging threats.
• Automate security operations tasks and security workflows using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in information security engineering , with a strong focus on cloud security and network defense.
• Expertise in securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for security tasks (Python, Go, PowerShell).
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, threat modeling, and incident response .
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote, distributed team environment.
