Remote Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure network infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage and configure security tools, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing detailed analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure coding practices and system configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security engineering or a similar role.
• Proven experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
• Expertise in network security, cryptography, and identity and access management (IAM).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC are highly preferred.
