Remote Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Remote Installation Engineer to join their fully remote team, serving clients nationwide. This role is designed for a professional who can expertly manage and oversee the installation process of complex systems from a distance. You will provide remote guidance, support, and troubleshooting to on-site installation teams and clients, ensuring projects are completed successfully, on time, and to specification. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a deep technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate effectively across different geographical locations, contributing to the smooth deployment of cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical assistance and guidance to on-site technicians during installation and setup procedures.
• Develop detailed installation plans and protocols, ensuring all steps are clearly documented for field teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during remote installations via phone, video conferencing, and remote access tools.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain accurate records of remote support activities, client feedback, and issue resolutions.
• Conduct virtual training sessions for clients and internal teams on system configuration and operation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical installation, field service, or support role, with a focus on remote capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of Installation & Maintenance principles and practices for complex systems.
• Excellent command of remote support tools, communication platforms, and diagnostic software.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation guides.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
