About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Remote Installation & Maintenance Lead to oversee and guide their field operations teams supporting the Randburg area. This critical leadership role involves managing remote installation projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing expert technical direction to field technicians. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing installation processes, and ensuring the successful deployment and ongoing maintenance of client systems from a distance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage remote teams of installation and maintenance technicians, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Oversee the planning and execution of installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement best practices for equipment installation, calibration, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues escalated by field teams, utilizing advanced diagnostic capabilities.
• Monitor field team performance, provide feedback, and conduct remote training sessions to enhance skills.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve installation procedures and product reliability based on field feedback from Randburg.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in field installation and maintenance, with a significant portion in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate remote technical teams effectively.
