Remote Instructional Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Remote Instructional Designer to develop engaging and effective learning experiences. This role focuses on conceptualizing, designing, and developing digital learning content for a variety of audiences and platforms. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to transform content into dynamic online courses, interactive modules, and other learning materials. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in adult learning principles, multimedia development, and e-learning technologies, all while working effectively in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging e-learning courses, workshops, and training materials using modern instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather content, define learning objectives, and ensure accuracy.
• Create visually appealing and interactive learning experiences using authoring tools and multimedia elements.
• Develop assessments and evaluation strategies to measure learning effectiveness.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring on-time completion of design projects.
• Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Instructional Designer, creating digital learning content.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories, cognitive psychology, and multimedia learning principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
