Our client is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Insurance Data Analyst to join their fully remote team, supporting operations in Mossel Bay . This role is critical in transforming raw insurance data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to identify trends, measure performance, and forecast outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various insurance sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in insurance data.
- Assist in the development of predictive models for risk assessment and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout all analytical processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst , with at least 3 years in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
