About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote IT Network and Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure.

This fully remote position requires a proactive individual capable of overseeing network operations, server management, cloud services, and end-user support without direct on-site supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of all IT systems, implementing solutions, and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities • Administer and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual), including operating systems and applications. • Manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure optimal connectivity and security. • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime. • Provide remote technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems. • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including backups, disaster recovery plans, and endpoint protection. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the IT infrastructure.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT network and systems administration. • Proven expertise in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy. • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices. • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently. • Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or CISSP are highly advantageous.
