About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient and self-motivated Remote IT Support Technician to join their virtual IT department, operating remotely from Mahikeng, North West . Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level IT support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the IT infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and deploy new hardware and software solutions.
• Create and maintain IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential IT issues before they impact users.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar help desk role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common office applications.
• Experience with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Proficiency in using remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to patiently assist users.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote environment .
