Remote Junior Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Remote Junior Electrical Engineer to join their innovative engineering department, supporting operations based out of Port Elizabeth . Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of electrical systems, including schematics and component selection.
• Perform basic calculations for power requirements, load estimations, and circuit analysis.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and project status updates.
• Support the testing and commissioning phases of electrical projects, troubleshooting minor issues.
• Participate in design review meetings and contribute ideas for system improvements.
• Learn and apply company design standards and relevant industry codes (e.g., SABS standards).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or internships.
• Familiarity with basic electrical principles and components.
• Proficiency with standard office software; experience with CAD software is a plus.
• Strong eagerness to learn, good communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting .
