Remote Junior Game Writer

Our client is actively seeking a passionate and imaginative Junior Game Writer to join their fully remote development team. You will work closely with senior writers and narrative designers to craft compelling storylines, character backstories, dialogue, and in-game text that immerses players in our virtual worlds. Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging dialogue, item descriptions, quest text, and other in-game narrative content.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the game's lore, character profiles, and overall storyline.
• Collaborate with the narrative team to brainstorm story ideas and plot points.
• Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and quality across all written materials.
• Receive and implement feedback from senior writers and other development team members.
• Contribute to world-building documentation and other narrative assets.

Requirements

• Proven writing ability with a portfolio showcasing creative writing samples (fiction, screenplays, or game writing).
• Strong understanding of narrative structure, character development, and dialogue writing .
• Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
• Familiarity with video games and an understanding of narrative techniques in interactive media.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
