Junior UI Engineer Gulf Associates•Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA We are looking for a Junior UI Engineer to support our technical work for a client operating a financial services firm. In this role, you will assist in building and refining internal tools that help our partners deliver commercial advice to sovereign entities and large family groups.

The position is a full-time, paid role, and the compensation is competitive for the entry level market.

What you will do • Translate static visual designs into clean, functional HTML and CSS for a variety of internal applications. • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards used for complex investment modeling and partnership analysis. • Test interfaces across different devices and browsers to ensure a consistent experience for all users in the market. • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement small features and updates to our proprietary data tools. • Maintain and document a library of UI components to ensure internal design consistency across our project portfolio. • Help troubleshoot front-end bugs and layout issues as they arise during active client engagements. • Research and suggest simple, effective ways to improve the usability of our data visualization tools. • Participate in technical reviews to understand how our UI choices impact the commercial logic of the final product.
