About the Role

Our client is searching for a visionary Remote Lead 5G Network Engineer to spearhead the development and deployment of their next-generation 5G network infrastructure . You will guide a team of talented engineers in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex 5G core and radio access network (RAN) components. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of 5G network solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Oversee the deployment and integration of 5G core network elements, including UPF, SMF, AMF, and NRF.
• Manage and mentor a team of 5G network engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
• Develop strategies for network optimization , capacity planning, and performance tuning of 5G services.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the 5G ecosystem, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid resolution.
• Define and enforce network engineering standards and best practices for 5G deployments.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mobile network engineering, with at least 5 years focused specifically on 5G technologies .
• Deep understanding of 5G standards, architecture (NSA/SA), and key components (Core, RAN).
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects remotely.
• Expertise in network virtualization, SDN/NFV, and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
