About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced Lead Architectural Drafter to join their fully remote workforce, drawing talent from areas like Centurion and beyond. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of precise and comprehensive architectural drawings and technical documentation. You will lead a team of drafters, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in all generated plans. This position requires a meticulous individual with exceptional technical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a virtual environment, contributing to the successful execution of diverse architectural undertakings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of architectural drafters, providing guidance and ensuring quality output.
• Develop and produce detailed construction drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using CAD and BIM software.
• Ensure all drafted plans adhere strictly to project specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to integrate design changes and resolve technical discrepancies.
• Review and stamp draft drawings, taking responsibility for their accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized digital archives of all project documentation and drawing revisions.

Requirements

• Advanced Diploma or equivalent certification in Architectural Drafting or CAD Technology.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural drafting, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit , and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a drafting team remotely.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
