About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for educational technology integration across the organization, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of educational technologists, providing technical guidance and professional development support.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of learning management systems (LMS), digital content platforms, and other educational technologies.
• Design and deliver training programs for educators and staff on effectively utilizing technology for teaching and learning.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, provide user support, and ensure the reliability and accessibility of all educational technology tools and platforms for learners in Tembisa .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Educational Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in educational technology, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven expertise in managing LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and various educational software applications.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and how technology can enhance teaching and learning processes.
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills, essential for a remote position.
