Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of new microservices and the evolution of existing ones, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence and promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Develop high-quality, robust, and efficient code using relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Go, Node.js).
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.
- Implement and champion automated testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and robust monitoring solutions.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of all microservices in production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on designing and building microservices.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior developers.
- Deep understanding of microservices patterns, distributed systems, and API design (REST, gRPC).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Python, Node.js) and associated frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
