Remote Lead UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and analytical Lead UX Researcher to join their fully remote product development team. This critical role will involve leading user research initiatives to uncover deep user insights that inform product strategy and design decisions. You will design and conduct a variety of research studies, including user interviews, usability tests, surveys, and field studies, translating findings into actionable recommendations. As a lead, you will mentor junior researchers and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure user needs are at the forefront of product development, fostering a strong user-centric culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative user research studies.
• Translate research findings into compelling insights, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Develop and refine research methodologies and best practices for the team.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to identify research questions and opportunities.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior UX researchers, fostering their professional growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX research or a related user-centered research role.
• Proven track record of designing and conducting diverse research studies (e.g., interviews, usability testing, surveys, card sorting).
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is highly desirable.
