About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Logistics Coordinator to join their distributed team. You will work remotely, managing shipments, liaising with carriers, and resolving any logistical challenges that may arise. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track all shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery across different regions.

• Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and customers to provide updates and resolve issues.

• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, expenses, and delivery times using logistics software.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping routes and reduce transportation costs.

• Prepare and process necessary documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms, as needed.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations and report on performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.

• Familiarity with logistics software and tracking systems.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with carriers and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.

• A relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
