About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Logistics Operations Specialist to manage and optimize logistics operations from a distance, supporting their business in the Upington area and beyond.

This fully remote role is essential for coordinating the seamless movement of goods, managing documentation, and ensuring operational efficiency across the supply chain.

This is an ideal position for an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a remote work environment and possesses strong organizational and problem-solving skills within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities • Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations, including shipment tracking, scheduling, and problem resolution. • Manage all necessary shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding shipment status and logistics activities. • Utilize logistics software and systems to monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement. • Proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. • Contribute to the development and implementation of improved logistics processes and workflows.

Requirements • Proven experience in logistics operations, supply chain coordination, or a related field. • Strong understanding of logistics management principles, transportation, and warehousing. • Proficiency in using logistics software, WMS, TMS, or similar operational platforms. • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities, crucial for remote work. • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. • Experience within the Logistics & Warehousing sector is highly valued.
