Remote Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst

Our client is looking for a skilled and data-driven Remote Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst to join their globally distributed team. This role is crucial for analyzing and improving the efficiency of our supply chain operations through data insights and strategic recommendations. You will work remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, optimize inventory levels, reduce transportation costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and supply chain operations.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain changes and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement process improvements and operational changes.
• Research and recommend new technologies or strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and visibility.
• Support the development and execution of inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs across various distribution points.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, or operations research.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with supply chain modeling or simulation software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings clearly.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
