Remote Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Remote Management Accountant to join their fully distributed team. This role is crucial in providing insightful management accounting information to support strategic decision‑making across the organization. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and costing initiatives, working closely with various departments from the convenience of your home office. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, profitability reports, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.
• Conduct in-depth cost analysis, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across operations.
• Provide financial support and guidance to department heads and operational managers, helping them understand financial performance.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of management reporting tools and dashboards.
• Support the year-end financial audit process by providing necessary management accounting data and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIMA , ACCA, CA(SA) ) is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in management accounting, financial planning, and analysis (FP&A).
• Excellent command of accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
