Remote Manufacturing Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Remote Manufacturing Consultant to provide expert guidance on optimizing production processes and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. You will work with diverse manufacturing clients, assessing their current operations, identifying strategic improvement opportunities, and developing tailored implementation plans. This role requires a deep understanding of modern manufacturing principles, a strong analytical capability, and the ability to drive change remotely. You will be instrumental in helping clients achieve greater efficiency, quality, and competitiveness in their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of manufacturing operations, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations and roadmaps for process optimization and technology adoption.
• Guide clients through the implementation of new manufacturing strategies, including Industry 4.0 principles and automation.
• Provide expertise on lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Facilitate remote workshops and training sessions for client teams.
• Analyze data to track project progress and measure the impact of implemented solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Manufacturing Consultant or in a senior operational leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of successfully driving significant improvements in manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Deep knowledge of modern manufacturing processes, technologies, and supply chain management .
• Experience with data analysis, process mapping, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-management skills, with the ability to work effectively remotely .
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
