About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Remote Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and optimize their production processes from a remote setting. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products without the need for a physical on-site presence. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing strategies to enhance production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee production schedules, resource allocation, and supply chain management to ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs ) and implement data-driven improvements to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Manage and mentor a geographically dispersed team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a cohesive and high-performing environment.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in a remote operational framework.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including R&D, sales, and logistics, to align manufacturing operations with business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in manufacturing operations management , with a significant portion in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in managing remote teams and operations effectively using digital tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality control systems.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in manufacturing resource planning (MRP ) software and project management tools.
