About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly innovative Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to contribute to optimizing production lines across various sites, with a focus on remote collaboration and analysis. This position involves designing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, all while working from a remote location. You will leverage data analysis and simulation tools to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic changes that can be implemented globally. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on problem-solving and can effectively contribute without being physically present on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement improved manufacturing processes using lean manufacturing principles and statistical analysis.
- Analyze production data, identify inefficiencies, and propose innovative solutions for process optimization .
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Collaborate remotely with on-site engineering teams and production staff to troubleshoot issues and implement process changes.
- Utilize simulation software and data analytics tools to model and predict process performance.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools is a significant advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
