Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of advanced concepts and prototypes for new technologies.
• Utilize advanced CAD software to create complex 3D models, detailed drawings, and assemblies.
• Perform rigorous engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and dynamic simulations, to validate designs.
• Collaborate virtually with a distributed team of engineers, researchers, and product managers across various disciplines.
• Document design decisions, analysis results, and testing procedures meticulously.
• Identify and evaluate new materials, components, and manufacturing processes relevant to advanced product development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical design challenges in a remote setting.
• Contribute to patent filings and technical publications.
• Stay abreast of emerging mechanical engineering trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design and development, with a strong focus on innovation and new product introduction.
• Expert proficiency in industry-leading CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360) and simulation tools (FEA/CFD).
• Demonstrated experience in conceptual design, rapid prototyping, and design for manufacturability.
• Excellent understanding of materials science, mechanics of materials, and thermodynamics.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet remote project deadlines.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a creative approach to engineering challenges.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in virtual collaboration tools.
• A strong portfolio showcasing innovative design projects is highly desirable.
