About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to their special projects division. This role is critical for developing innovative mechanical solutions that push the boundaries of current technology, with a strong emphasis on remote collaboration and digital design workflows. You will work autonomously and as part of a distributed team, tackling unique engineering challenges from concept to implementation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of novel mechanical systems for specialized applications, utilizing advanced 3D modeling techniques.
• Conduct thorough design validation through simulations and virtual testing, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, analysis reports, and manufacturing instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members, stakeholders, and external partners via digital communication platforms.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative design concepts.
• Oversee the remote integration and testing phases of prototypes and final designs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in mechanical design, with a focus on complex systems and new product introduction.
• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, Creo) and advanced simulation tools (FEA, CFD).
• Demonstrated success in developing innovative solutions for challenging technical problems.
• Excellent self-management and time-management skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across dispersed teams.
