About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Remote Mechanical Engineer specializing in Product Design to contribute to their innovative development efforts, supporting operations based near East London . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of new consumer or industrial products from concept to production.
• Utilize advanced CAD software for 3D modeling, drafting, and assembly design.
• Conduct performance simulations and stress analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Collaborate effectively with remote R&D, marketing, and manufacturing teams.
• Oversee prototype development and testing, iterating designs based on feedback and results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical product design.
• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks , Fusion 360 ) and FEA tools.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish remotely.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Excellent communication and virtual collaboration skills.
