About the Role Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Remote Menu Developer & Consultant to design innovative and appealing menus for various catering clients. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your culinary expertise to develop diverse menu options, considering dietary trends, client preferences, and operational feasibility.

Key Responsibilities • Develop creative, profitable, and appealing menu concepts for diverse catering clients, including standard offerings and custom event menus. • Research and stay updated on current food trends, dietary requirements (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, low-carb), and popular cuisines. • Collaborate virtually with clients to understand their brand, target audience, and specific menu needs. • Provide expert consultation on food costing, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen operational efficiency related to menu implementation. • Create detailed menu descriptions, ingredient lists, and potential serving suggestions. • Ensure all menu development adheres to food safety and quality standards.

Requirements • Extensive experience as a Chef, Menu Planner, or Culinary Consultant, with a strong portfolio of developed menus. • Deep understanding of culinary arts, food preparation techniques, and flavor profiles across various cuisines. • Knowledge of current dietary trends and the ability to cater to specific nutritional needs. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate culinary concepts clearly. • Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, document creation, and project management. • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
