About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Mine Operations Manager to lead their mining operations from a remote perspective. This senior leadership role is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of mine production, safety, and efficiency. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic operational plans, managing budgets, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day mining operations, including production, maintenance, and safety.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans and budgets to achieve production targets and financial goals.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mine supervisors and operational staff.

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mine operations management, with a strong understanding of both open-pit and underground mining .
• Proven leadership experience managing large operational teams and complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of mine planning, safety protocols, and operational best practices.
• Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
