Remote Mine Processing Superintendent

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Mine Processing Superintendent to lead their mineral processing operations remotely. In this key leadership position, you will oversee all aspects of the plant's performance, focusing on safety, efficiency, and productivity. You will work closely with on-site plant managers, metallurgists, and maintenance teams to optimize operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the consistent production of high-quality mineral concentrates. Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all mineral processing plant operations.
• Ensure the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of all processing equipment.
• Develop and implement operational plans to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational savings.
• Lead and mentor the processing management team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of processing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Mining Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mineral processing operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience in managing complex processing plants (e.g., crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching).
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the mining sector.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, adapted for remote management. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and drive operational improvements.
