Key Responsibilities

• Analyze mining operational data, including production rates, equipment performance, and energy consumption, to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization , focusing on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing safety protocols.
• Design and simulate improved mining processes using specialized software, assessing the feasibility and impact of proposed changes.
• Collaborate with site-based engineering teams, remote geology departments, and management to implement and monitor optimization initiatives.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and presentations outlining recommended process improvements and their projected benefits.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and best practices in mining engineering and process optimization globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mining operations and process engineering.
• Strong understanding of mineral processing , mine planning, and operational efficiency principles.
• Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., ARENA, AnyLogic) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills .
• Proven ability to work independently, manage remote projects, and communicate effectively across different teams and time zones.
