About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Network Infrastructure Specialist to join their global IT team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing robust and secure network infrastructure that supports critical business operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy scalable and resilient network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based networks.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure optimal uptime and speed.
• Manage and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize business disruption.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions to enhance performance, security, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs), TCP/IP, and network diagnostics.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SD-WAN technologies.
• Proficiency in network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, essential for a remote role.
