About the Role

Our client is seeking an exceptional and knowledgeable Remote Online Tutor specializing in University Level Mathematics to join their growing virtual academic support team. You will provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to university students globally, helping them grasp challenging topics, improve their grades, and build confidence in their mathematical abilities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and effective online tutoring sessions for university students in various mathematics subjects (e.g., Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics).

• Assess student understanding and adapt tutoring methods to meet individual learning needs and goals.
• Offer guidance on homework assignments, exam preparation, and study strategies to enhance academic performance.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and feedback provided.
• Collaborate with the academic support team to continually improve tutoring methodologies and resources.

Requirements

• A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching university-level mathematics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools and virtual whiteboards.
• Ability to explain abstract mathematical concepts in an accessible and understandable manner.
