Remote Operations Excellence Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Remote Operations Excellence Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives across their business units. This role is designed for an individual passionate about optimizing processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational performance, all from a remote location. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that align with the company's goals for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in industrial engineering and a proven track record of successful implementation of improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze operational data to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for enhancement.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with diverse teams globally to foster a culture of operational excellence.
• Monitor the impact of implemented changes and report on key achievements and challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations excellence, process improvement, or industrial engineering.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects, influence stakeholders, and drive change remotely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills for virtual environments.
