Key Responsibilities

• Operate your own commercial tractor-trailer unit for long-haul freight transportation.
• Ensure the safe and secure loading, transport, and unloading of various types of cargo.
• Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and company regulations regarding safety and Hours of Service (HOS).
• Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines and optimize mileage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and trailer to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate logs and electronic records of all driving activities and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding status updates and any potential issues.
• Maintain your vehicle and trailer in excellent mechanical condition, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Provide professional customer service during pickup and delivery interactions.
• Manage fuel, maintenance, and other operational costs effectively to maximize profitability.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (CDL-A) driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a long-haul truck driver.
• Ownership of a reliable, well-maintained tractor-trailer unit compliant with industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage independent operations and maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Excellent knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of load securement techniques.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and driving record review.
