Remote Performance Analyst (Sports)

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize performance data from various sources, including training sessions, matches, and physiological monitoring.
• Apply statistical methods and data visualization techniques to analyze performance trends, identify key metrics, and uncover patterns.
• Generate comprehensive performance reports and presentations for coaches, athletes, and management, highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
• Develop predictive models and simulations to forecast performance outcomes and evaluate strategic options.
• Collaborate remote with coaching staff and sport scientists to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical support.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in sports analytics, data science tools, and performance metrics.
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
• Contribute to the development of data collection protocols and analytical frameworks.
• Provide objective feedback on individual and team performance to support development and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Sports Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Performance Analyst in a professional sports environment or a similar data-intensive field.
• Proven expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
• Experience with sports analytics software and platforms.
• Strong understanding of sports performance metrics and biomechanics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent remote collaboration and self-management skills, with a strong work ethic.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
